Cat-tastic Travels: Keeping My Cat a Happy Camper

Hello, darlings. Enjoy my close-up!
My hooman and I, living the RV wander-women lifestyle.
Luna: “Oh, I’m just lounging on this picnic table. Totally not watching Orville. Nope, not at all.”
Orville: “What? Me? I’m just vibing on this rug. Definitely not keeping tabs on Luna. Mind my own business? Always.”
I don’t think I’m cut out to be an adventurer cat.
I’ll just hang out by the ceiling, thanks.
Ugh, fine, I’ll shake. Now, where’s my treat?
Excuse me, peasant. Can’t you see I’m trying to relax in my royal basket?
Casanova, one of my many, uninvited suitors.
His charm? Terrible. His timing? Unmatched.
I swear, Mama, I’m trying to focus on DaBird, but how am I supposed to pounce properly when Orville’s over there, plotting my downfall?
You better not! My Mama will get the hose!
My litter boxes hidden in the booth dinette. Mama removes the cushions and plyboard to clean them. All that’s missing is a daily cleaning service. Oh, the indignity!
My cat door works great to cover up the jagged edges from cutting the hole in the plywood. Stylish and functional!
The view from the outside. Most hoomans have no idea it’s even there. And Mama’s obsession with baking soda? What, is she trying to say I smell?
How rude!
Once upon a time, back when we lived in a brick-and-mortar house, Mama bought us elf outfits and staged a photoshoot. Cosmo, being only half as smart as I am,
failed to be appropriately mortified.
Purina ProPlan LiveClear keeps me happy, healthy and full of kitten-energy vibes!
Here I am, offering my expert opinion on how much I disapprove of travel days. Mama and Grandma think they’re so clever wedging my tree between the fridge and the counter to keep it from throwing its doors open and painting the RV with food-based paint.
Ugh, wearing my harness and leash again. So annoying! I really don’t see why I can’t just be free. I guess I’ll just stay on the stairs and make everyone step over me
while they pack up the RV.
Taking a break from the carrier on a longer travel day to stretch my legs, scope out the rest stop and make known my displeasure.
I look squished, but I’m really not. This is my favorite position to wile away the never-ending hours of travel days. Which, to be honest, I mostly sleep through, blissfully unaware of the torturous ordeal that is the journey. But alas, I am a cat, and it is my sacred duty to make sure you know how deeply I suffer—preferably with dramatic, fixed glares.
I’ve trained my hooman to believe I actually enjoy this…
Did you say ‘vet’? Thanks, but I’ll pass.
Sun and views! What more could a nap-seeking kitty ask for?
